Reporting to:
R&D Department Lead
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and represent Research and Development (R&D) operations to achieve the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will ensure delivery of R&D results to enhance ABB's position and profitability while supporting global R&D management in developing technology and footprint strategies. You will also showcase your expertise by fostering effective and trust-based cooperation with other local R&D operations.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Serving as the key technical entry point and high-level discussion partner for the country/region regarding technologies addressed by the local R&D organization.
  • Supporting in the development of medium and long-term strategies, deriving consistent local strategies and targets, and implementing them in the local organization.
  • Planning capacity, people, and resources for R&D projects and manages conflicts efficiently.
  • Staying on top of strategic technology, customer, and market developments to provide guidance in local areas of responsibility.
