REPORTS TO: Elementary School Principal

JOB GOAL: To work as a member of the Elementary School team to provide support, both in and out of classrooms, for Elementary School students.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 崗位職責(zé):
1. Assist the homeroom, Chinese or specialist teachers with tasks in and outside the classroom that include, but are not limited to, photocopying, display work, assisting with classroom routines, the creation of materials, laminating, ordering local materials, filling out requisition and transportation forms, communicating needs with PM and security when needed. 協(xié)助班主任、 中文或其他任課老師完成課堂內(nèi)外的任務(wù),包括但不僅限于:復(fù)印、展示作品、協(xié)助課程常規(guī)、材料準(zhǔn)備、過塑、訂購本地材料、填寫請示或運輸表格、需要時與物業(yè)和安保溝通。
2. Work individually and in small groups with students, both in and out of the classroom, for example with guided reading, small group investigations, translating content if needed. 獨立開展工作, 協(xié)助學(xué)生閱讀、小組討論、翻譯等。
3. Assist with documentation of student learning, particularly when it happens in Chinese. 協(xié)助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)存檔,尤其是使用中文的。
4. Escort and supervise students between homeroom and specialist classes ensuring their safety. 在課間陪同或監(jiān)督學(xué)生,確保其安全。
5. Escort students to the Nurse when needed. 陪同學(xué)生去醫(yī)務(wù)室。
6. Escort students to the buses and communicate with bus monitors. 陪同學(xué)生上校車,并與校車管理員溝通。
7. Participate in and provide updates and feedback to teacher/parent meetings as necessary. 必要時參加家長會 并提供更新信息或反饋。
8. Assist in recording student progress, particularly when learning is communicated in Chinese. 協(xié)助記錄學(xué)生學(xué) 習(xí),尤其是使用中文的。
9. Converse with students and support language learning in both English and Chinese. 與學(xué)生交談,幫助他們的 英文和中文學(xué)習(xí)。
10. Understand and implement BCIS and IB policies, procedures and practices. 理解并貫徹 BCIS 和 IB 課程的政策、流程及方式。
11. Maintain confidentiality about all school and student--‐related matters. 對學(xué)校和與學(xué)生相關(guān)的信息保密。
12. Attend all meetings as required by the school administration. 參加學(xué)校管理者要求的所有會議。
13. Carry out substitution duties within established acceptable guidelines, as required by the school administration. 在學(xué)校管理者要求以及所建立的規(guī)定下,完成替崗職責(zé)。
14. Model the learner profile, promoting a culture of kindness and serve as a role model in all areas school life. 以學(xué)習(xí)者目標(biāo)為榜樣,營造一種友善的文化,并在各個方面以身作則。
15. Keep classrooms and teaching areas reasonably clean and tidy. 保持教室及教學(xué)空間干凈整潔。
16. Translate school--‐home communication as necessary. 必要時翻譯學(xué)校與家庭的溝通。
17. Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Elementary School Principal. 完成小學(xué)校長交代的其他任務(wù)。
