Responsibilities
Drive and maximise enrolment and admission processes, including onboarding, re-enrolment and withdrawal.
Student Recruitment
? Maximise recruitment through effective outreach and channel expansion.
? Managing the conversion from enquiries to applications by ensuring timely, high-quality, and effective interactions with prospective parents and students throughout the admissions journey.
? Manage and oversee the application and assessment processes to ensure families have a clear understanding of admission requirements and keep refining the admission process for improved efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure the testing summary file is updated in time.
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of enquiries, applications, assessments, and enrolments with relevant analytics to identify risks and trends.
? Deliver personalised experience and build rapport with prospective families throughout the admissions journey.
? Resolve concerns and complaints efficiently and effectively to retain advocacy for the school.
? Conduct school tours in a professional way to showcase the school’s facilities, curriculum, and community.
Onboarding
? Manage and oversee the onboarding of new students and their families, including logistics, class and house allocation, etc.
? Liaise with academic and administrative teams efficiently to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new students, especially for students joining mid-term with time constraint.
Re-enrolment & withdrawal
? Manage the annual re-enrolment exercise as well as withdrawal and refund.
? Call/meet each family to follow up on their withdrawal applications to collect in-depth information regarding reasons for withdrawing and destination of transfer.
? Maintain and update leavers and joiners’ data on a regular basis and assist in reporting.
Oversees data maintenance and synchronization of admissions data across all platforms, including but not limited to OpenApply and iSAMS.
? Ensure student applications are maintained, updated and contain all relevant, required documentation and information on OpenApply.
? Ensure data synchronization, integrity and accuracy across all platforms, including OA, iSAMS, etc.
Design Admission journey based on research and personas development
? Provide input and assist the design and development of the admissions journey so that it feels bespoke and conveys the Dulwich educational and holistic philosophy to prospective families.
? Keep updated with market trends and happenings in competitive schools to ensure customer journey is personalized and differentiated.
? Work with the relevant departments to tailor content, messaging, touchpoints and services to the specific needs, behaviors, and concerns of personas, making sure our services and strategy are aligned with the wants and needs of the prospective families.
Analyse market trends and deliver competitive intelligence
? Monitor and analyse admissions data to track trends, identify opportunities, and inform decision-making.
? Prepare regular admissions reports.
? Gather, interpret and consolidate relevant quantitative and qualitative data, trends, statistics and behavior insights to inform strategic, tactical, and operational efforts and decision making.
? Working with Group market research to develop, refine, and implement research frameworks, tools, and methodologies that create a platform of insights for competitive differentiation on the local market.
? Lead the understanding of competitors in the local market, including and what is appealing or not to the different segments and personas and tracking enrolment of competitors.
? Conduct parent surveys as required.
And any other job or function assigned by the Head of Admissions
Skills and Experience Required
? Bachelor’s degree. Five years of experience in a similar role at an international school is preferred.
? Mature, able to remain positive under pressure.
? Strong leadership and people management skills, able to manage and motivate team members and manage conflict.
? Results orientated, problem solving & decision-making experience.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally in fluent English and Mandarin (Korean is a plus). Able to engage diplomatically with families from various background.
? Strong computer skills and experience of data reporting and processing with high attention to detail. Proficiency in data management systems such as OpenApply and iSAMS.
? Ability to resolve day to day problems independently and to exercise appropriate judgment and create solutions to the related problems.
? Identifies, understands and prioritises the needs of internal and external customers to provide the highest standards of service for the School/College.
? Professional manner with all visitors and potential students/families
? Able to work with others across the School/College, through respect, openness and transparency.
? Able to identify areas we can improve on and processes to assist with improvement and identifying areas were this can be improved.
? Able to work overtime as needed.
