Objectives of the Job:
The Project Manager leads the team and has responsibility for project deliverables. Also supports the sales team to drive business growth and works closely with the senior management team in China to ensure profitable growth of Magna Steyr business.
Main Duties:
? Quotation support. The PM supports the initial quotation process, organizing internal departmental resource for planning and costing, supports customer follow up meetings and finalizes the proposal for submission
? Project timing plan.
After receipt of the LOI or a contract, the PM will produce a detailed project plan. The planning follows the defined project milestones and the master timing plan. This master timing plan will be presented in the project kick off to all team members.
? Kick-off meeting.
PM will moderate the kick-off meeting. In this meeting the PM will share with the team all the relevant information for the project work.
? Project
handbook:
In order to have all relevant information for the project team documented and available to the whole team, the PM will keep all the documents stored in the folder “project handbook”.
? Project Cost Planning.
PM will be responsible to upload the project cost planning accordingly to the project content and plan using SAP.
The project cost plan will be updated every month or according to the actual project content and plan.
? Sales Order and Payment Plan.
PM has to create the Sales Order and payment plan as per contractual agreement.
? Resource Planning.
PM will update the resource planning with the involved technical departments. This resource planning will be updated every month or according to the actual project requirements and plan.

Project Status Monthly Review.
PM shall report the project status from work progress, finance, quality, man-hours against the planned and deviations, monthly to senior management.
? Project Milestone Review.
PM is responsible for all relevant deliverables to support milestone reviews as specified by the project master timing and customer requirements
? Project data backup and lessons learned.
PM is responsible for data back up and to run lessons learned workshops.
? Data Archive.
The PM has to make sure all the project data is saved and stored after the project is finished as per project requirements.
Qualification:
? Bachelor degree or above majoring in Automotive Engineering or related subject
? Component localization project experience in OEM.
? At least 6 years total working experience in a Project Management role
? Background from the automotive industry and familiar with local and foreign OEM customers Proven delivery record of completing full vehicle projects
? Able to gain respect from and motivate teams across different regions and cultures
? Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people at all levels of the business
? Ability to improve profitability drives revenue growth, identify new revenue streams and reduce overheads.
? Excellent skills in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint
? Fluent in oral and written English
? Willing to travel abroad
