崗位職責(zé)
- 負(fù)責(zé)中學(xué)MYP科學(xué)課程教學(xué);
- 參加教學(xué)研究工作,掌握所教學(xué)科的教學(xué)大綱、教材教學(xué)原則和教學(xué)方法;
- 按要求進(jìn)行備課、講課、輔導(dǎo)、批改作業(yè)等,教學(xué)思路清晰、課堂氣氛活躍;
- 定期或不定期參加組織的教研活動(dòng)、教學(xué)檢查、教學(xué)培訓(xùn)等教學(xué)活動(dòng);
- 定期或不定期參加部門例會、家長會和學(xué)校的培訓(xùn)會議
任職資格
- 本科學(xué)歷及以上、科學(xué)教育等相關(guān)專業(yè)背景。研究生學(xué)歷優(yōu)先;
- 3年以上雙語學(xué)?;驀H學(xué)校的相關(guān)教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn);
- 精通英語,可以全英文授課;
- 具有相關(guān)的教師資格證書;
- 熱愛教育行業(yè)、認(rèn)同雙語教育理念、較強(qiáng)的責(zé)任心。
Responsibilities and Duties
Using Daystar's Planning Framework, our teachers:
· Plan scaffolded and differentiated learning experiences aligned with clear standards-based outcomes
· Utilize varied and effective instructional and assessment strategies, including structured and guided inquiry approaches and problem-based learning, to engage all students in rigorous, meaningful, and authentic learning
· Utilize standards-aligned formative and summative assessment data to inform instructional planning and delivery
· Engage in reflective practice and professional development aimed at improving classroom practice
· Collaboratively plan with Chinese and English colleagues within and across disciplines
Beyond classroom academic instruction, our teachers:
· Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages critical and creative thinking
· Communicate effectively with all Daystar community stakeholders, including students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
· Support whole-child development as homeroom teachers and advisors and/or projects supervisors (e.g. MYP Community/Personal Projects, Extended Essays)
· Collaboratively plan and participate in co-curricular activities and events
· Other duties, as assigned by the Secondary School Principal
Qualifications & Requirements
· Possess a strong foundation in discipline-specific content and best instructional practices (required)
· Experience teaching Advanced Placement or IB MYP courses and preparing students for high-stakes exams (preferred)
· Bachelor's degree (required); Master's degree (preferred)
· Valid teaching certificate or proof of qualified teacher status (required)
· Experience working in a bilingual setting (preferred)
· Must be open-minded and demonstrate an interest in living in China and working at a school committed to developing bilingual and bicultural students
