The Global Market Cross-Asset Structuring team is organized regionally with the following mandate:
1. Focus on developing the structured product platform and capability for CACIB China as well as cross-border transactions relating to the broader China franchise.
2. Day-to-day pricing services, training and marketing to GMS network of investment products and hedging solutions across asset classes, incl. Credit, Rates, FX/Precious Metals, Secured Funding, Cross-Assets (formerly known as “hybrids”), “Alternative Solutions” e.g. risk transfer solutions, QIS, etc.
3. Foster cooperation and ensure a smooth execution process between trading and sales.
4. Design and develop new products, tools, materials responding to clients’ needs and sales feedback and coordinate the internal development process.
5. Local implementation or development of wrapping solutions with a strong transactional motivation in order to optimise client objectives with respect to risk, accounting and/or regulatory constraints.
6. Coordination of SFI cross-selling business with GMS Sales force regionally.
7. Ensure the business is carried out with the highest origination standards from both a compliance and legal standpoint
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide daily pricing and daily runs.
2. Coordinate with sales to propose products and solutions (pricing, strategy, pitch, client meetings) for hedging, asset / liability management and investment purposes.
3. Prepare marketing materials for products (existing and new), for review by the customer, CACIB and Lawyers.
4. Execute the transactions with Trading according to internal pricing policies.
5. Prepare the relevant documentations in relation to executed trades.
6. Ensure “best-in-class” trade execution from pre to post-trade to offer best client service, in continuous accordance with internal and external rules and regulations.
Qualifications
1. Fourth year undergraduate of Bachelor or second year student of Master, with major in Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, Economics related.
2. Ability to communicate clearly and easily (verbal and written in English)
3. Strong mathematics and financial data statements analysis skill
4. Candidates with certain expertise in financial quantitative analysis or relevant internship experience are preferred
5. Can ensure full-time internship work from Monday to Friday.
