Job Description: Recruiter (Video Games - Technical)

The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team. This role is pivotal in scaling our engineering and technical teams with top-tier talent. You are not just a recruiter; you are a strategic partner to the business, deeply understanding our games, our technology, and our long-term objectives. Your mission is to proactively build a robust external talent pipeline, ensuring we have the right people to bring our ambitious projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Sourcing:
Partner directly with hiring managers and studio leadership to define hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for technical roles (e.g., Gameplay Engineers, Tools Programmers, Graphics Engineers, DevOps, etc.).
Go beyond reactive sourcing; proactively cultivate a rich, external talent pool through advanced techniques (e.g., market mapping, competitive intelligence, community engagement, and strategic networking).
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future opportunities, creating a sustainable talent pipeline that aligns with our business goals.
Full-Cycle Recruitment:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions, from initial briefing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Conduct insightful screening calls and interviews, assessing not only technical competency but also cultural add and core values alignment.
Provide an exceptional candidate experience that reflects our company's brand and values.
Business Partnership & Insight:
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing data-driven insights on the talent market, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
Demonstrate strong business sense by understanding studio priorities, project lifecycles, and how talent acquisition directly impacts our success.
Collaborate with the HR Director on broader talent initiatives, including employer branding, diversity & inclusion strategies, and process improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
Must Have:
Proven experience as a Recruiter, with a significant focus on hiring for technical roles within the video game industry or a comparable tech-centric environment (e.g., VFX, animation, software development).
Demonstrable expertise in sourcing and engaging passive candidates through local and international platforms.
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Python), and technical roles specific to game development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities.
Nice to Have:
Experience working in a fast-paced, creative studio environment.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
A network of contacts within the game development community.
