Job Summary
· The position is a Mechanical Engineer who will have primary responsibility for conceptualizing, developing, delivering, and integrating MRI hardware subsystem to meet the cost and quality commitment, and contribute to the localization projects.
· This role involves almost all aspects of the mechanical engineering discipline including structural, materials, kinematics, dynamics, vibration, and electromechanical interactions. And this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a cross-functional team on a complex integrated system.
Job Description
· Developing engineering design concepts for components and assemblies that have tough requirements for size, precision, reliability, and cost.
· Exploring multiple design options for the mechanical component and assembly detail design with 3D CAD models.
· Testing and verifying hardware to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, by recording and analyzing test data.
· Selecting hardware and material, assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements. Working with technology suppliers and cross-functional staff to optimize hardware designs
· Providing technical support to team throughout product development and implementation process
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and 3+ years relevant work experience
· Experience in the following technologies: Structure parts design and Composite parts
· Experience in cost reduction and localization project
· Familiarity with mechanical 3D CAD tool Creo / ProE / Windchill
· Teamwork, coordination and communication skills
· English: Read & Write
