Overview:
The Business Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing strategic sourcing & sales initiatives across existing and developing markets. This role requires a blend of commercial expertise, market analysis, and customer management skills to deliver innovative solutions, develop new opportunities, and strengthen customer and supplier relationships in the chemical distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales growth
- Plan: develop a strategic sales plan based on market insights and segment-specific data. This includes identifying target markets, setting sales objectives, and forecasting potential revenue.
- Retain: Retaining existing customers focuses on maintaining and strengthening relationships with current clients. This involves ensuring customer satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly, and implementing loyalty programs or strategies to keep customers engaged and committed to Novasol’s offerings.
- Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of specific market segments, including trends, competition, and customer needs. This expertise enables them to make strategic and operational decisions to sustain or improve current business.
Business Development
- Develop and negotiate customer contracts across our markets for all customer segments within the company portfolio.
- Identify and develop new customers, market segments, and territories, with a proactive, growth-oriented approach.
- Design account-specific strategies and customized solutions to meet customer needs.
- Support the introduction of new products to existing and prospective clients.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust pricing, product, and volume strategies.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and generate leads.
Strategic Sourcing & Product Development
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to negotiate competitive terms and ensure quality and reliability.
- Align sourcing strategies with the needs of the accounts and market insights to maximize profitability and service levels.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Enter and update commercial and sourcing data in ERP and CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Prepare periodic reports on business development, sourcing pipeline, and market performance for senior management.
Compliance & Customer Service
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and corporate values.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and ensure timely payment processes.
- Support continuous learning and adaptation to evolving regulations.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain, Quality and Product Managers to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
任職要求:
Education and Working Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in chemical distribution or related B2B industries, with a proven track record in sales and business development.
- Wth an established client network and market insight are preferred,particularly in water treatment, food additives, personal care and beauty, and life sciences and pharmaceuticals.

- Sales & Business Strategy: Proficient in developing strategic sales plans, conducting market segmentation, setting sales targets, and forecasting revenue.
- Customer Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to maintain and deepen client relationships, with expertise in enhancing customer loyalty through service and strategic engagement.
- Market Analysis: Deep understanding of target market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs, enabling data-driven business decisions.
Professional Skills:
- Proficient in English as a daily working language, including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Ability to communicate and work smoothly with international teams.
- Proficient in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., SAP) systems for customer management, data entry, and sales forecasting.
- Excellent contract negotiation and execution skills.
- Exceptional cross-departmental collaboration skills, effectively partnering with supply chain, quality, and other teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in English as a daily working language, including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Ability to communicate and work smoothly with international teams.
