Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Price and quote client estimates in order to win new projects while maintaining standard profit margins
2. Understand all Questel products and services while applying company pricing guidelines and models to produce accurate, competitive estimates
3. Responsible for accurately conveying client demands and requests to the Operations team
4. Respond to inquiries in a timely and service-oriented manner, both internally with sales and project managers, and externally with clients
5. Consult project managers to examine job details and goals of a project, and sales to understand client requirements and project scope
6. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and past clients through regular communication, reports, project management, and strategy development
7. Track win/loss ratios and use data to improve sales strategies and processes
8. Attend and participate in weekly department meetings
9. Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required. In addition, any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Track record using proven closing skills and the ability to build client relationships
2. A combination of business development and account management skills required
3. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
4. Able to qualify, identify, and clarify client needs through effective questioning and listening
5. Able to analyze and synthesize information and evaluate external client needs as they correlate to Questel’s services
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
7. Strong interpersonal, customer service, and telephone skills, and ability to maintain, strengthen, and develop relationships externally and within the organization
8. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills, using professional tone and language; tactful and diplomatic with a clear, straightforward, courteous, and cooperative manner when dealing with others
10. Detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, and able to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner
11. Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events
12. Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal
supervision
13. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities
14. Excellent planning and organizational skills
15. Participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
16. Willing to work occasionally during non-standard hours
17. Fluent in English
18. Fluency in another language, other than English, preferred but not required
