1. Receive rate applications from customs and booking agents, check the accuracy and key into OVQ
accordingly on daily basis.
2. Send the quotation back to the clients in OVQ item by item when they are approved by Liners.
3. Communicate with trade managers if there is something happened during the application, especially
when client gives us feedback on our rate offer.
4. Consolidate spot rate applications and pass onto trade managers via emails. Then closely monitor the
internal application progress and make sure to give customer feedbacks in time.
5. Handle customer inquiries / complains in regards to sailing schedule, rate enquiries, MSC services, space
& booking situation and ensure customer orders/requirements are clearly transferred to all concerned
parties.
6. Conduct market study on responsible service and monitor changes of market situations and report to
Trade Manager to assist in setting up marketing strategies.
7. Assist to prepare sales & marketing reports or analysis for management of Sales & Trade or MSC
Principals.
8. Monitor daily bookings, maintain close liaison with clients & concern parties of all schedule / allocations
assignment and changes / equipment situation and possible shortfalls and report to immediate supervisor
and manager.
9. Maintain close liaison with booking agent for cargo prospect and monitor their booking performance.
10. Work closely with trade team to carry out the day-to-day follow up and operation.
11. Carry out all relevant duties as outlined in the Company procedures and policies.
12. Provide and follow up sales leads to/from overseas agents.
13. Perform any other job duties assigned by immediate supervisor and management.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above,2 years working experience related in shipping industry.
2. CET-4 or above, able to communicate in English.
3. Proficient in office software.
4. Have a strong sense of responsibility, work carefully, decisively, have strong learning ability, and have an optimistic spirit.
