The main responsibilities include: · Prepare tax filings working paper including VAT, CIT, Consumption tax, Stamp Duty and WHT etc. · Responsible for compliance and timely filing of local tax returns/statutory requirements. · Response tax query from tax authority. · Maintain good relationship with tax authority, presentation to tax officer. · Work closely with staff and managers of both tax team and other key departments. · Participate in the design and implementation of tax automation tool to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency. · Support tax team or participate in ad-hoc tax projects. Required Skills and Qualifications: · Minimum of 1-2 years’ relevant tax experience working inhouse and/or as an advisor. · Experience in ECR filing and export tax refund is a plus. · Experience in tax digital projects is a plus. · Work experience in the consumer products sector and familiar with different provinces’ tax system in China is a plus. · Ability to think creatively to build scenarios and find solutions. · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team. · Skills and the ability to build strong relationship with internal stakeholders, tax authorities and advisors.
