Principal responsibilities
Provide technical consultation to development team members with guidance of department principles. Lead teams or projects of high complexity. Initiates and conducts feasibility studies of new and modified business requirement.
Provide technical analysis and solutions to business issues, provides consultation, researches and implements technical alternatives, and maintains awareness of business technology strategies.
Be responsible in user requirement gathering, detailed requirement documentation by working closely with the project stakeholders including IT and business users. Ensure the business need can be translated into executable artefacts for development team.
Work closely with stakeholders, architects, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
Work with development team to clarify the user requirements, conduct system testing, prepare test plan and test cases.
Work with business users on the UAT execution, defects follow-up with application development team
Designing, coding, and debugging modernized applications
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Developing and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based solutions utilizing either open sourced technologies or cloud native service
Qualifications
University Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English is a must
Demonstrable 5+ years of excellent experience in Cloud native technologies, include but not limited for those popular ones on GCP, AWS, Alicloud. Experience on GCP is desirable but not essential. Total years of experience should be around 10 years.
Abilities to translate business level requirements to system level components or blocks, to review the deliverables from other team members and to work in diverse global teams.
Proven Excellent automation capabilities when applying the Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps into daily work, especially for automated deployment and release management, by using technologies include but not limited, Git, Terraform, Groovy, Ansible, Python, Shell with Github, Jenkins etc. Deep understanding of CI/CD process is a must
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with the popular technologic stack like Kubernetes, Kafka, sql/nosql database, Redis, Elasticsearch and more
Good experience on building monitoring and/or observabilities by using AppDynamic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack and other equivalences.
Proven experience developing automation or application with at least one high level language, Java and/or Python is desirable but might also accept other language
Any experience on the big data technologies like Spark or flink will be a plus but not essential.
Any deep knowledge of databases, e.g.MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Any experience in ClickHouse or Bigquery will be a big plus
Excellent experience with the micro services with containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and/or services/data mesh development patterns
