Job Responsibilities崗位職責(zé)：
· Assist in the educational and social development of ONE Grade 5 boy student with Special Education Needs under the direction and guidance of the Class Teacher and Psychology Teacher.
· Provide support for individual student inside and outside the classroom, shadowing the student's full day lessons.
· Support the individual student with emotional/behavioural issues and help develop their social and personal skills
· To encourage and support the skills of independence and self reliance
· Provide feedback to individual student's parents in relation to progress and achievement under the guidance of the teacher
· Provide feedback to teachers through verbal or written notes
· Increased student/teacher/ parent satisfaction regarding class support
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
· College’s Degree or above （preferably in Education, English etc）
· Practical knowledge of equipment, including IT equipment where appropriate, to support learning in a variety of lessons and learning environments either on a one-to-one basis or small groups, under the direction and supervision of the teacher
· Ability to recognise changes in students＇ behaviour and report to the teacher
· Ability to complete straightforward paperwork e.g. incident report form
· Ability to communicate clearly with students and others
· Ability to explain straightforward tasks and activities to students under the direction of the teacher.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
· Ability to make straightforward decisions on when to refer queries/problems to another member of staff
· Ability to manage the specific student’s behaviour and deal with emergency and other unforeseen situation.
