Job responsibilities:
- Implement the Group & PRC Accounting Guidelines and ensure financial statements correctly reflect company's business and comply with IFRS and local GAAP. Responsible for timely and correct submission of company reporting package, local statutory reports and statistic reporting.
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities. Govern/work with Service Hub Units to close the books according to predetermined schedule.
- Monitor financial statements and collaborate with relevant parties to clean booking issues timely and appropriately.
- Coordinate and support the Group reporting audit and annual statutory audits.
- Interact different teams within Finance community to provide professional finance insight, guidance and support on financial accounting and reporting topics. Communicate with stakeholders to keep updated of changes.
- Coordinate and support for implementing internal control policies and procedures within the company and ensure compliance.
- Support, coordinate and ensure the timely and complete updates and communication of relevant process documentations, discussion alignments with the stakeholders and internal guidance etc.
- Identify, recommend and promote opportunities for process improvement of financial accounting and reporting.
- Implement projects/initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the financial accounting and reporting work areas.
- Comply with relevant safety responsibilities by following the company's EHS policy and requirements
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and report any unsafe conditions and behaviors, including near miss and incident.
- Complete other / ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job requirements
- Education: Bachelor / Master’s degree. CPA and other professional certificate is a plus.
- Working Experience: Minimum 4 years professional experience in Finance and Accounting area. Big 4 working experience is a plus.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Good command of written and spoken English is essential. Solid understanding of accounting regulations (IFRS and PRC). Good at customer relationship and stakeholder management. Good command of computer skills (MS Office tools). Hands on knowledge of SAP system is advantageous.
