Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the implementation of the strategies of quality and processes to ensure that The corporate quality policy and the charter are promoted throughout the STC site.
2. Monitor the STC in house quality targets and measures for the STC site and report the performance of the STC site against the targets.
3. To manage STC product quality issues for all product from STC site of Edwards Trading.
4. Monitor the conformance of the STC quality processes and procedures in the shop floor of the STC site to ensure the practice aligns with corporate engineering expertise.
5. Audit and monitor if the standard operating procedures are adequate to ensure the quality of the STC product.
6. Monitor the STC quality system to achieve and maintain the requirement from ISO standard.
7. Initiate and lead the continuous improvement in STC site.
8. Provide support to the STC site by coordinating cross functional activity with relevant Edwards functional teams to drive quality improvement.
9. Manage the measurement system including gage calibration, gage R&R, and calibrated masters.
10. Manage internal NCM performance and drive relevant department to carry out the improvement plan.
11. Collect the voice of customer and initiate the relevant improvement action.
12. To report weekly/monthly STC quality to quality manager of Edwards Trading STC.
Requirements:
1. A bachelor degree level or above qualification in an Engineering discipline with an appropriate work based quality management.
2. Over 3 years’ qualification and experience for quality area
3. Quality Statistical knowledge and experience.
4. Experience of operating internationally.
5. Able to operate at senior level, including manager level.
6. Knowledge of mechanical components manufactured in casting, machining, polymer, stamping, press and soldering.
7. Basic product technical knowledge.
8. A knowledge of the Semi-conductor business.
9. A Knowledge of the Measurement system and calibration.
10. A knowledge of the global industry standards such as ISO standard
11. Problem solving methodology. (8D, 5Why., etc)
12. Ability to interpret the engineering document such as drawing, statistical process control information(Cpk., etc)
13. Fluent in Microsoft Excel and powerpoint software.
14. Proficiency of reading and writing in English.
15. Ability to communicate by listening and speaking in English is preferred.
16. Project management skills, strong communication skills, organisational awareness and impact and influencing skills in Mandarin and English.
