Job Responsibilities:
? Draft and lead negotiations for LNG supply term sheets
? Negotiate LNG SPAs with counterparties independently as well as together with other NGPA marketing managers
? Work with internal and external lawyers on LNG SPAs
? Participate and provide inputs in shaping long-term LNG sales and Novatek’s energy’s strategy
? Build relationships with potentials stakeholders; domestic LNG/gas buyers, power generation companies, industrial customers; local partners/contacts and government agencies
? Work closely with LNG trading, to continually identifying value through a consistent deal stream; promote spot trading & short-term opportunities, enhance pricing effectiveness, offer risk management and hedging solutions (i.e. hedging service, arbitrage protocols)
? Ensure that all business activities are conducted according to the prescribed policies, standards and legal framework
? Develop and implement a short-term LNG marketing and sales strategy of LNG;
? Develop and implement an optimization plan of LNG within company`s portfolio;
? Develop LNG pricing analysis and offers;
? Ensure that enough market research is done and shared efficiently to enhance the marketing and optimization ability of the company;
? Maintain and expand the network in LNG trading industry;
? Negotiate spot/short term deal and/or optimization with external customers, traders and suppliers; Propose and draft Key terms and conditions for internal discussion;
? Manage, negotiate, review and finalize (including execution arrangement) of commercial contracts such as Confidential Agreement, MSPA and Confirmation Notice etc.).
Requirements:
? Strong background in China LNG marketing (spot and long-term);
? Good connections with relevant counterparties at China LNG market;
? Proven capability to build up relationship with customers and sell cargoes independently;
? Strong knowledge of LNG commercial documents;
? Fluent English is important for day-to-day communication;
? Fluent Chinese is important for day-to-day communication with Asian customers;
? Interest to do marketing (not paper trading);
? Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills;
? Willingness to take initiative and broaden area of responsibility;
? Flexibility and ability to work in a diverse team.
