PRIMARY
OBJECTIVES AND KEY CHALLENGES:
The primary objective of this position is to
lead cross functional team in developing process flow to meet manufacturability
requirements, maintain and improve product quality performance.
Transfer of products from NPI phase to volume production and sustain it till products end-of-life. Drive projects to develop supplier and/or in
house manufacturing processes, quality system, continuous improvement system to achieve problem resolution.
Additional task and responsibilities as needed to fulfill department objectives
Key challenges are to meet set targets on quality, cost, productivity and competence in process development.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
?Collect, coordinate and review of
design requirements from engineering to ensure process compatibility and according to DFM guidelines.
?Participate in close to T3 project team as key representative to transfer product project to production.
?Acting as Project manager leading transfer of products from NPI phase to volume production.
?Create/maintain Process flow chart,pFMEA and control plan, drive root cause failure analyses and improvement
action.
?Develop process flow, data collection methods and necessary control for production.
?Continuously fully comply with all good manufacturing practice standard requirements.
?Driver for continuous improvement in quality and cost.
?Drive lean manufacturing initiatives.
?Responsible to stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming products condition.
?Participate in process problems,RMA investigation, corrective action plan and execution.
?Report product quality and develop action trackers.
Essential
At least 5+ years related experience in product/process engineering
Good inter-departmental communication skillsKnowledge on lean and good manufacturing practice
Data analysis skill.
Experience in developing and working with small group problem solving teams.
Experience in R&D product development and project management required
Ability to work under pressure and independently
to meet timeline.
