This position is a key position within APAC operation, fully responsible for achieving MQAH factory objectives safely, efficiently, and in compliance with a stringent quality system. The core objective is to ensure all products (GMP and Detergent) meet the standards of quality, safety and regulatory requirements, while optimizing costs, improving efficiency, and delivering customer orders on time.
A) GMP compliance management:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the production department, ensuring all production activities strictly adhere to GMP procedures, standards, SOPs.
2. Ensure the production environment, equipment, and personnel conduct comply with GMP standards.
B) HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) management:
1. Serve as the primary MQAH factory safety responsible person, establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture.
2. Ensure all chemical materials (raw material, WIP, finished goods) are handled, stored, and produced in compliance with HSE regulations.
3. Oversee risk management to ensure the safe production of hazardous chemicals.
4. Lead accident/incident investigations, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
C) Quality, DPS and Technology management:
1. Oversee the ongoing validation and maintenance of manufacturing processes to ensure product quality.
2. Work closely with PMD and Quality department to lead deviation investigations and change control execution.
3. Identify and drive process optimization, technological improvements, and DPS projects to reduce costs and improve production OEE.
4. Manage the smooth technology transfer of new products and processes from PMD to mass production.
D) Planning, Warehousing, and Logistics management
1. Supervise the development of the forecast and material requirements planning to optimize resource and ensure on-time delivery.
2. Manage warehousing activities for raw material , WIP and finished goods, ensuring storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, segregation requirements) meet specifications and maintain high inventory accuracy.
3. Optimize inventory levels to improve inventory days while avoiding production stoppages due to material shortages.
4. Ensure transportation activities comply with chemical transportation regulations and customer requirements.
E) Team and Performance management
1. Lead the MQAH factory team, responsible for recruitment, training, development, and performance appraisal.
2. Foster a team culture emphasizes safety, quality, and customer focus.
3. Develop and monitor key performance and drive continuous improvement.
4. Manage MQAH factory cost control.
