Be accountable for the financial operations of the company, to monitor and control operational strategy metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results and ensure that reported financial results are complying. Undertake data validation along with finance reporting and analysis to support Management in analyzing the business.
Job Duties:
? Reporting the financial results of our MAS China operations in an accurate and timely manner (Actuals, Forecast, Budget).
? Full ownership of P&L, Balance Sheet and Working Capital (local, Canadian, tax GAAP).
? Overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters.
? Maintenance of internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
? Tax management and control for the region.
? Responsible for Credit Management & Billing.
? Cost & Expense control.
? Ensure that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.
? Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure, particular checks to ensure correct compliance with:
Restructuring accruals and expenses
Warranty, Inventory and Receivables Reserves
Intercompany Reconciliations
? Provide guidance and support on financial matters to the Management Team and ensure that input of regional and corporate resources on tax, treasury, risk management, accounting and internal control is obtained when needed.
? Responsible for all financial analysis and scenario modeling of new business proposals and for managing the approval process of any new business proposal prior to sales force communication with customers.
? Responsible for the development of all local finance departments.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics preferred.
? Preferably 10+ years of experience in financial accounting.
? Strong accounting expertise and analytical skills.
? In Finance and Controlling, IFRS (both PRC GAAP & Singapore GAAP) preferred. ERP experience is mandatory.
? English fluent for both written and spoken, CET 6 or above.
? Excellent in Excel and PPT and good command in Word skills.
