Arranging serial production, complex
working cycles and sequences, taking production processes and methods into
account; Participating in discussions on new project
start-ups and line improvements.
The main missions
of the role are:
- Support
the development of production methods taking the market development for
production systems into
account and check new systems for their suitability and applicability as
set by Hella specific constrains and legal requirements - Define
and describe manufacturing sequences, manufacturing capacities and
operating equipment data taking into account the planning variables to
be determined (workflows, planned times, batch sizes); prepare
manufacturing plans using existing systems and methods - Plan
new manufacturing sequences and operating equipment with the help of
existing manufacturing processes,
taking knowledge from the field of work science, production engineering
and economics into account,
as well as guidelines and standards. Use digitization to increase
efficiency and robustness (e.g.MES, Hydra, iTAC) - Continual
editing, interpretation and implementation of relevant technical
information from internal and external partners as well as coordination
and implementation of process and production equipment changes - Evaluate
risks using the process FMEA and taking customer requirements into
consideration as well as developing
and implementation of improvement actions - Prepare,
update and manage production and quality related documentation according
to the guidelines as well as creating and updating the production master
data - Involvement
in internal and external audits in production and quality assurance, as
well as supporting
series auditing in agreement with the superior if appropriate - Involvement
in change management (EOP control, costing, feasibility analysis,
scheduling etc.)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Education:
·
Bachelor’s degree or above,
majoring in mechanics, etc.
Experience:
- Experience in Engineering or Manufacturing in Automotive
sector (car manufacturer/Tier) - Product and process engineer
experience - Seniority (inside or outside Forvia)
Advanced ME Engineer: 3 years-experience as a ME Engineer
Skills and competencies:
- Knowledge in manufacturing
process, have certain process design ability, understand
the automation equipment - Knowledge of quality tools
(FMEA, CP, WI, 8D, APQP,DOE,etc /problem solving skills) - English fluent
