Scope of Job:
Responsible for the creative design and execution of all performance music, including song writing, vocal coaching, and multilingual song rehearsals, ensuring perfect alignment between musical storytelling and performance emotions.
Main Responsibilities
1. Music Composition and Design
- Compose, adapt, or select appropriate music and songs for various park performance, ensuring alignment with the emotional tone and narrative of the show.
- Write lyrics and guide the pronunciation and performance of foreign language songs according to the musical theatre style, ensuring natural and expressive delivery.
2. Vocal Coaching and Performer Training
- Conduct vocal training for performers to enhance their singing techniques and stage presence, ensuring seamless integration of music and performance.
- Train our performers in the pronunciation, intonation, and emotional expression of multilingual songs, overcoming language barriers to achieve international performance standards.
3. Audio Production for Broadcast Systems
- Create and write VO broadcast copy for park-wide and show related announcements, ensuring content aligns with the Park’s brand tone while being informative, entertaining, and interactive.
- Organize and direct voice recording sessions for broadcast content, including selecting voice actors and guiding their delivery in terms of emotion and pacing.
- Oversee post-production processes such as editing, mixing, and mastering of broadcast audio, and integrate it into the Park’s BGM system to ensure high quality and consistent soundscapes across the Park.
4. Family Music Interaction Design
- Design and lead parent-child music interaction segments, engaging children through “l(fā)earn-through-play” performance methods to enhance fun and participation.
- Develop music-centered parent-child games incorporating rhythm, movement, and simple lyrics to create a joyful and warm on-site atmosphere.
5. Music Production and Post-Production Coordination
- Collaborate with audio production teams to complete tasks such as music arrangement, recording, mixing, and post-production, ensuring professional sound quality for performances.
- Manage music copyright-related matters to ensure all music content used is legally compliant.
6. Cross-Department Collaboration and Innovation
- Work closely with departments such as choreography, directing, stage design, and operations to create immersive performances and visitor experiences with a unified artistic style.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative music and audio expression techniques to continuously enhance the appeal of the park’s entertainment offerings.
7. Health & Safety
You are responsible for implementing LLSHR’s HSS Policy, management system and related standards.
Within the area of management responsibility, you must:
- Show clear leadership and commitment to HSS; this includes setting a good personal example.
- Develop plans that are consistent with the HSS strategy to carry out risk assessments and meet relevant standards, legal requirements and LLSHR’s HSS targets and objectives.
- Take the necessary practical steps to implement the HSS management system, including:
- Providing suitable resources and training
- Defining specific roles and responsibilities
- Explaining HSS issues effectively
- Establishing operational controls
- Managing contractors effectively
- Organising emergency response arrangements
- Implement measures to monitor HSS performance and, where necessary, take corrective action. This includes audits, performance monitoring, and reporting / investigating incidents.
- Ensure that HSS decisions are consistent with LLSHR’s HSS Policy.
- Consider HSS issues in business decisions and explain their importance.
- Support promotional campaigns and educational plans.
- Recognise and reward employees who show positive HSS behaviour and achieve HSS objectives.
- Discuss HSS issues regularly.
- Encourage employees to suggest measures to improve HSS performance, and follow these up.
- Ensure that employees who blatantly or repeatedly violate HSS standards, procedures and rules are disciplined appropriately.
- Challenge unsafe conditions or actions and work with those involved to agree the necessary safety improvements.
- Provide ready access to skilled HSS professionals and / or accurate HSS advice.
Job Reqiurements:
1. Education and Experience
- Graduated from Music related background or have at least 3 years of experience in Production, Vocal performance, composition, Recording arts, or a related field preferred.
- Have the experience in Music direction.
2. Skills
- Solid skills in music composition and production, with experience in multilingual song rehearsal and vocal coaching.
- Extensive experience in broadcast copywriting, voice recording direction, and audio postproduction, with the ability to independently manage broadcast audio projects.
- Proficiency in designing interactive children’s performances and engaging young audiences through music-based games.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Proven leadership, direction, and rehearsal management skills.
- Proven ability to take the lead, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Skilful to use Office software, including Outlook, PPT, Excel, ect.
3. Language
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
